This Privacy Policy describes how Cinnamon Mobile LLC (“Cinnamon Mobile”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play — including Stocks Live, Stocks Live + Stock Tracker, Stocks Tape, Skylit, Flight Live, Tread, Roam, Seam, BlockPop, DropPop, PicPop, SortPop, The Card, Memory, Police Scanner, Radio Globe, and our other apps (together, the “Apps”) — and when you visit cinnamonmobile.com (the “Site”).
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Support messages — if you choose to email us, we receive your email address, your message, and (if you choose to keep the attachment) a small “App Info” summary the app prepares. It contains no personal data — only app statistics that are the same for every user (app version, device model and OS version, language, configuration versions, counts of the app's built-in content such as how many cryptocurrencies it lists) plus the anonymous RevenueCat purchase identifier, which lets us fix purchase problems for the install that wrote to us. It never includes any of your in-app content.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. To recognize your purchases across launches, our purchase partner RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated per-install identifier, your purchase history for our app, device type, OS version, and locale. This identifier is not linked to your identity.
Information we do not collect
- None of your in-app content. Everything you create in our Apps — portfolios, holdings, watch lists, price alerts, notes, settings — is stored only on your device and, if you enable sync, in your personal Apple iCloud or Google Drive account. It is never transmitted to, collected by, or visible to Cinnamon Mobile.
- No accounts, usernames, or passwords — our Apps have none.
- No advertising and no advertising SDKs — none of our Apps display third-party ads or use advertising identifiers (IDFA / Google Advertising ID).
- No analytics of any kind — no analytics or tracking SDKs in the Apps, no analytics on our website, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- No record of what you look up. When an App displays quotes, charts, or news, it requests that content directly from the data provider as an ordinary anonymous web request — we receive nothing, and we keep no log of the symbols or articles you view.
- No precise location. We never request GPS access.
- No contacts, photos (except photos you attach to your own notes, which stay on your device/your cloud), microphone, or health data.
- No brokerage credentials — we do not connect to your brokerage accounts.
- We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes — with anyone, ever.
2. Optional Features
- iCloud / Google Drive sync — entirely under your control and stored in your own cloud account under your own credentials. Disable it at any time in system settings (iOS) or in the app (Android); deleting the app's data from your cloud account is done through Apple or Google.
- Community price alerts (Stocks Live, iOS) — if you save a price alert, an anonymous record containing only the ticker, direction, and price level may be shared with other users as a “community alert.” It contains no identity, no identifier, and expires automatically after 30 days.
- StockTwits — if you choose to sign in to StockTwits inside Stocks Live, you authenticate directly with StockTwits under its own privacy policy; we store your access token only on your device.
- Notifications — price alerts and reminders are checked on your device and delivered as local notifications. We do not operate a push-notification server that profiles you.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide the Apps' features — displaying your portfolios, checking your alerts, fetching market data you request.
- To process and restore purchases and subscriptions.
- To respond to your support requests and diagnose problems you report.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Apps) and legitimate interests (support and fraud prevention).
4. When Information Is Shared
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Apps, each receiving the minimum described above:
| Partner | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Apple (App Store, iCloud, StoreKit) | Distribution, payments, your private sync | apple.com/legal/privacy |
| Google (Play, Play Billing, Drive) | Distribution, payments, your private sync | policies.google.com/privacy |
| RevenueCat | Purchase/subscription state (anonymous ID) | revenuecat.com/privacy |
| Financial data & news providers | Content your device requests directly from them (an anonymous web request; nothing passes through us) | Each provider's own policy |
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or sale of Cinnamon Mobile, in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data. We never sell personal data.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Your content lives on your device and in your own cloud account. Deleting the app deletes the local copy; your iCloud/Drive copy is managed through your Apple or Google account.
- Support emails are retained as long as needed to help you, then archived per normal email practice. Email us to have a past thread deleted.
- Purchase records at RevenueCat persist for the life of the anonymous install identifier so your purchases keep restoring; you may request deletion (note this can prevent purchase restoration).
- Community alerts expire automatically after 30 days.
To request deletion of any data we hold (support correspondence, purchase records tied to your anonymous ID), email info@cinnamonmobile.com — we honor verified requests within 30 days.
6. Security
Your content is protected by your device's security (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, encryption at rest) and, in transit, by HTTPS/TLS for our network requests. Cloud-synced content is protected by Apple's and Google's account security, including any two-factor authentication you enable. Because we run no user-data servers, there is no Cinnamon Mobile database of personal information to breach.
7. Children
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests are satisfied by the deletion steps in Section 5 — but you can always email us and we will help, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the United States, and the service providers above may process data in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses implemented by those providers.
10. Changes to This Policy
When we change this policy we will post the new version at this address and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the relevant app's release notes.
